Jog on and on and on, Jules!

Remember your first ever 5K? Remember the nervousness and the little twinges of self-doubt beforehand? Remember how kick-ass you felt after the race? Julia, Jog on Jules blogger, recently ran her first 5K, and you can relive how you felt by checking out her post about running the Milton Keynes Big 5K Fun Run this past weekend in Buckinghamshire. If you’ve been following her blog, you’d know that the victory was all the more sweet because of the health issues that she has overcome in the past months.

She also has gone above and beyond most runners because of all of all the fundraising she has done. She first raised funds for Hope House Children’s Hospice in memory of her beautiful niece. If you are of the giving type, you can still contribute by going to her fundraising page. I look forward to seeing what cause is next on her list.

What does all of this have to do with jean-wearing joggers? Julie snapped a picture of one at her race. Icing on the cake, huh?

Congrats, Jules, on your first successful race. I hope you heard me cheering you on from the other side of the globe. Here is to many more races and years of you jogging on and on and on!

  1. I certainly could hear you cheering me on 🙂 and I just couldn’t believe my luck when I saw this man at my race! To start with I just thought he as a passer-by but he has a race number on the orange shirt in his hand. Thank you so much for all your support over these last few months, you ahve been awesome 🙂
